Project: Commercial window awning installation
Products: 22 drop arm window awnings with custom brackets
Project Overview
Ma/na Mayfair is a modern Japanese restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, London. For this project, 22 bespoke drop arm window awnings were installed across the restaurant’s exterior, creating a consistent, branded finish along the building’s distinctive stone façade.
Featuring a rich brown finish and custom Ma/na Mayfair branding, the awnings complement the restaurant’s contemporary identity while sitting naturally against the traditional architecture of the surrounding streetscape.
The Challenge
The installation required a consistent awning design across multiple windows along an extensive stone frontage. The solution needed to complement the restaurant’s premium appearance, incorporate its distinctive branding and accommodate the individual window positions.
With 22 awnings spanning the building, careful consideration of the overall layout and the use of custom brackets were important elements of the installation.
The Solution
A total of 22 drop arm window awnings were installed, each featuring bespoke Ma/na Mayfair branding against a deep brown fabric finish.
Custom brackets were incorporated to accommodate the installation requirements, allowing the awnings to be positioned across the restaurant’s numerous window openings.
The drop arm design creates a distinctive profile when deployed, with the angled awnings adding depth and visual interest to the façade. The repeated design establishes a consistent appearance along the building while allowing the restaurant’s branding to remain prominent from street level.
The Result
The completed installation gives Ma/na Mayfair a cohesive and recognisable exterior, with the branded awnings running along the Park Street frontage.
The combination of the brown fabric, contrasting logo and bespoke bracket arrangements creates a considered finish that complements both the restaurant’s modern Japanese identity and the character of the Mayfair building.
With 22 awnings installed across the frontage, the project demonstrates how bespoke commercial shading can contribute to a business’s exterior presentation while accommodating the requirements of a multi-window installation.
