Baltic Fleet, Liverpool

Project Overview

Designer Shade Solutions completed a commercial glazing installation at the Baltic Fleet in Liverpool, incorporating a double glazed glass roof, DSS Verlass windows and double glazed doors.

The installation introduces a contemporary glazed extension to the existing building, with extensive glazing and a dark aluminium framework creating a clean, modern appearance while retaining the character of the original architecture.

The combination of the glass roof, glazed windows and doors creates a bright, open environment with clear views of the surrounding area.

DSS Double Glazed Glass Roof

The glass roof forms a key feature of the installation, allowing natural light to enter the enclosed space from above. The glazed structure extends along the building to create a covered area that remains visually connected to its surroundings.

Double Glazed DSS Verlass Windows

The DSS Verlass windows provide extensive glazed elevations around the extension, creating clear sightlines and helping the interior feel connected to the surrounding streetscape.

The dark framework gives the glazing a consistent, contemporary finish that complements the existing building.

DSS Double Glazed Doors

The double glazed doors form part of the integrated glazing installation, providing access while maintaining a consistent appearance across the extension.

Together with the glass roof and DSS Verlass windows, the doors complete a cohesive commercial glazing solution for the Baltic Fleet.
