Overview
The Langham Hotel terrace project involved the installation of bespoke retractable awnings designed to complement an established outdoor hospitality environment. The installation provides extensive overhead shade while retaining the open, inviting character of the terrace.
The Challenge
Creating effective shade across a busy hospitality terrace requires more than simply fitting an awning. The installation needed to work with the existing structure, accommodate the terrace layout and provide practical coverage without compromising the appearance of the venue.
With the surrounding buildings and established outdoor seating area, the supporting brackets and awning configuration needed to be carefully tailored to the space.
Our Solution
Custom retractable awnings were installed using specially adapted brackets to suit the requirements of the terrace. The cream fabric provides a clean contrast against the surrounding architecture, while the extended awning coverage creates a more comfortable environment for guests.
The installation works alongside the existing timber framework, planting and outdoor lighting, helping to maintain the terrace’s distinctive atmosphere while introducing a practical shading solution.
